Practice Groups
PENGUINS: This is the introductory group in the program.  They are usually between the age of 5 and 9 years old.  Swimmers must be able to swim two lengths of the pool without stopping to join this group.  Penguins will learn basic stroke techniques with an emphasis on fun and stroke development.

DOLPHINS: This is the main "age-group" training group.  Swimmers must be able to swim 200yds without stopping and most have some ability in all four strokes to join this group.  These swimmers usually range in age between 8 and 12 years of age.  The main focus of this group is stroke development with an introduction into basic swim training sets.

SHARKS: This is the intermediate training group.  Swimmers must be able to complete two different practice sets to join this group.  These swimmers are usually between the ages of 10 and 13 years old.  These swimmers will focus on continued stroke development but will also be introduced to regular swim training cycles.

SENIORS: This is the most advanced training group.  Swimmers must be able to complete several different training sets to be a part of this group.  This group will continue to work on stroke development, but will focus on competitive training.  Swimmers in this group are usually 12 years and up in age.

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS: This group trains with the Seniors group with the same focuses and training techniques.  The High School Seniors use a training cycle program that focuses on preparation for the school competition season.
