More about the coaching staff: Keith J. Gast
						Veronica Prechtel
				Coach Veronica Prechtel has spent several seasons with the PACE Polar Bears.  At this time she is on leave taking care of her children Leo and Thomas.      In her first season, Coach Veronica worked only with the younger swimmers on the team, this year she has stepped up and will be helping Keith with the Shark and Senior Gold groups as well as continuing her work with the Penguins and Dolphins.  Veronica may rejoin the Pacesetter Coaching staff at sometime in the future.      Veronica grew up in Connersville, IN where she began swimming competitively at the age of 5.  Veronica swam for Connersville Swim Club and Connersville High School where she earned a scholarship to Fordham University in New York City.      Upon graduating from Fordham in the Spring of 2001, Veronica returned to Connersville to teach elementary school.  During this time she also coached with Connersville High School.      Veronica moved to Jeffersonville in the fall of 2003 when she took a job teaching 4th grade at Sacred Heart School.      In December of 2003, Veronica married Michael Prechtel.  Mike is now becoming an integral part of the support personnel of the PACE club.
